Hi, I’m Samantha — a visual artist, mentor, and educator dedicated to helping emerging and early-career artists build thoughtful, resilient practices and creative lives.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across painting, drawing, research, and teaching — and I know firsthand the complexities of forging a creative path. From developing your artistic voice to navigating self-doubt, visibility, and career-building, the journey can be deeply rewarding — and deeply overwhelming.
That’s why I am creating this space: to offer a slower, more intentional approach to artistic growth and support.
Through a blend of online courses, 1:1 mentoring, free resources, and an upcoming membership community (this one feels intimidating to me right now but I believe its possible...).
I am passionate about helping artists connect with their most authentic work, develop confidence in their own direction, and build careers rooted in clarity, care, and meaning.
Whether you're just starting out, returning to your practice after a break, or trying to bring more purpose to your day through creating art — you’re welcome here.
Let’s make this walk a little less lonely, and a little more sustainable.Â

Thanks to Samantha, my 11 year old son David showed his best performance in charcoal. I think teaching is Samantha's second great talent, so hope we'll see her launching an academy of her own!

My 1:1 art classes with Samantha were professional, informative, engaging and also friendly and fun! Samatha is an incredibly talented and inspiring artist and spending time creating and talking with her in her LX Factory studio was often the highlight of my week! She supported me to reframe my approach to drawing and creating, and taught me some profoundly helpful and simple techniques that have supported me to feel more confident in creating my own art at work. I am incredibly grateful to have met Samatha and to have spent some time with her and in her studio. I recommend her classes (and her beautiful works) highly to anyone. Thank you Samantha!

We did a 4 hour private workshop with Samantha and absolutely loved it! We told her what we were looking for and she prepared the class according to our needs teaching us various techniques that made our learnings much easier. Really made me look forward to go back to painting
